Hi there,

Great Grand Rounds Edition!!! I would love to be included in these, as I am both a patients blogger, and a Healthcare blogger. One day, it will all come together!!! I just need to get to submissions and my name known more I suppose.

One subject that is just going crazy to be blogged is the shock of how I fel as a nurse of 20 years now needing to truthfully identify myself as a ‘Permanently Disabled Nurse’, or ‘Retired Nurse’…hmmm which one fits?
I vote for the first one since it gives credence to the world of an illness creeping around– which leads me to answer their next question, “What happened?” and then that gives me a chance to explain the ultimate world of pain–how it is to live with it daily, as to how it does, and HAS changed relationships in myl life. Also an opportunity to EDUCATE!! Which the public needs, and every blog with serious writers about thier dx, pours a heart out with each post, feeling like I do…and are ALL giving some type of inside look into a life in pain.
